Juvenile dead after wreck of stolen vehicle, Corpus Christi police say (caller.com subscription) — Corpus Christi police are investigating a fatal crash involving a stolen vehicle that left one juvenile dead and two others injured after a wreck on 16th Street early Dec. 18. Officers say the car had been taken at gunpoint, a firearm was found inside, and one juvenile has been arrested on aggravated robbery and organized criminal activity charges. Residents with information are urged to contact detectives or Crime Stoppers.

AEP donates $5,000 to Laguna Little Miss Kickball League (kiiitv.com) — Corpus Christi’s Laguna Little Miss Kickball League just received a $5,000 boost from AEP Texas to finish a long-needed new concession stand and other facility upgrades. Serving about 300 local girls, the league is preparing to host a June 25 All-Star state tournament that will bring more than 20 leagues to Corpus Christi, highlighting both community support and growing youth sports opportunities.
   

5. Services held for 3 unaccompanied veterans (kristv.com) — In Corpus Christi, three veterans with no known family were honored with full dignity at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery as community members stepped in to stand by their gravesides. Locals gathered to ensure Navy Petty Officer John C. Bowers, Army Specialist Mark Lee More, and Navy Chief Petty Officer David Alan Dunn received the respect their service earned.
