  1. The City of Corpus Christi is currently under Stage One water restrictions, but recent rainfall has increased the combined lake levels of the city's two main water sources, Lake Corpus Christi and Choke Canyon Reservoir. These sources provide water to approximately 500,000 customers in the Coastal Bend area. Although the combined water levels have risen to 45.7 percent, the goal is to reach 50 percent to end the water restrictions, and dropping below 30 percent would trigger Stage Two restrictions. 2. Nueces County Judge Connie Scott delivered her first State of the County address on Friday, highlighting the collaboration between the Commissioners Court and the community. Various speakers, including Sheriff J.C. Hooper and Commissioners Robert Hernandez, John Marez, and Brent Chesney, emphasized the importance of unity and working together. The address covered projects and initiatives such as park improvements, the rebuilding of Bob Hall Pier, funding for school safety, medical clinics, and outreach programs throughout the county. 3. The Corpus Christi Positive Action Toward Cultural Heritage (CCPATCH) is launching the restoration of The Ritz Theatre and will host an open-mic event called Love Offering. The event hopes to raise donations that will be matched by a hurricane relief grant from the Texas Historical Commission, potentially reaching up to $230,000. The event is open to the public and will be live-streamed for those unable to attend, with donations being accepted online. (Caller-Times)
