Here are the top three stories in Corpus Christi today:
- The Corpus Christi City Council has approved a $6 million project to improve amenities at Surfise Park at North Beach. Construction is expected to be completed in April 2024 and will include the addition of new restrooms and a parking lot. Partial funding for the project will be provided through the State-Hotel Occupancy Tax Fund. (KRIS 6 News Corpus Christi)
- Corpus Christi officials say they are working to improve the city's infrastructure in order to make it safer for cyclists. The Corpus Christi Metropolitan Planning Organization provided an updated improvement plan during Tuesday's City Council meeting and says it will soon invite community members to share feedback. - The Naval Health Clinic at NAS-CC has reopened after being closed for three weeks for repairs. The clinic was initially shut down in order for the facility to update its electrical system. The facility was closed longer than intended when crews encountered unforeseen difficulties during the project, but it has officially back open for military personnel. (KIIITV.com)
