  1. Another pest is impacting Dallas' trees. The invasive cankerworm is slowly spreading through the North Texas area. The green tiny caterpillars are feeding off trees. While they are a common occurrence in the Dallas area, there is currently a rare widespread outbreak. The cankerworms are not a real issue for the health of the trees, but they are stripping hackberry trees of their leaves. (CultureMap)
  2. As a result of a Thursday evening shooting, two individuals are now dead. The incident occurred in the 2800 block of Casey Street.
