Free Speakers Gets Best Of 2025 Nod

Dallas, Texas — Every community has its bright spots — the neighbors, businesses and local favorites that make it feel like home. As 2025 comes to a close, Patch and T-Mobile are recognizing the people, places and moments that made this year brighter in Dallas through our Best of 2025 series.

How did this person, place or experience make a difference in your life or community this year?

Since launching in August 2025, Free Speakers DFW has become an essential connection between local expert speakers and community groups and organizations. The pro bono speaker’s bureau provides presentations to libraries, Rotary clubs, nonprofits, etc. with limited budgets. The bureau has ensured that professional education and inspiration remain accessible to everyone in the Metroplex regardless of their financial resources.

What would you like everyone in town to know about your nominee?

Free Speakers DFW is a 100% free resource where every speaker presents at no cost, no fees, no honorariums, and no mileage charges.

If you could tell them one thing, what would it be?

Thank you for creating a "win-win" for DFW; you’ve given professionals a meaningful way to give back while providing our community organizations with the tools they need to keep their members engaged and informed.

What’s something you love most about your town or community?

I love the "can-do" spirit and the generosity of the people in Dallas-Fort Worth. Our community thrives because there are always individuals and organizations willing to share their expertise and time to help their neighbors grow and succeed.
