Here are the top three stories today in Dallas:

1. The Dallas Police Department has issued a "Critical Missing" alert for a 72-year-old woman. According to the department, Alice Dickerson went missing from the Bishop Arts District on Saturday around 11:00 a.m and remains missing as of Sunday evening. She may be confused and in need of assistance. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact the department immediately. (WFAA.com)
2. The next capital murder trial for Billy Chermirir is starting today in Dallas. He has been accused of killing multiple individuals in the Dallas area. The first trial for the death of Lu Thi Harris resulted in a mistrial due to jury deadlock. Dallas County District Attorney John Creuzot is seeking life sentences rather than seeking the death penalty. (KCENTV.com)
3. Gavin Escobar, the former tight end for the Dallas Cowboys, has been identified by the Riverside County Sheriff's Office coroner as one of two individuals that died while rock climbing in California. The individuals were discovered in the San Bernardino National Forest by firefighters. Escobar played for the Cowboys from 2013 through 2016. (News.com)
