D.R. Horton unveils ambitious plans for 1,200 new homes in Fort Worth
D.R. Horton plans to develop more than 1,200 news homes in North Fort Worth on a 430-acre area

Fort Worth, Texas - D.R. Horton is set to introduce more than 1,200 new residences in the northern region of Fort Worth, Dallas Metro News reported.
The planned development, situated on a 430-acre area, is bounded by Texas State Highway 114, F.M. 156, Elizabeth Creek, and the BNSF Railroad. The proposal is slated for review by the Fort Worth City Plan Commission in their upcoming Wednesday meeting.
D.R. Horton is identified as the owner of the project, while LJA Engineering is listed as the applicant. The development is expected to become a part of the Northwest Independent School District. Previous approval for a preliminary plat was granted by the City Plan Commission in both 2016 and 2021. The project has experienced multiple administrative changes since then.

The most recent amendment aims to add an additional 67 lots to the development, and city staff have recommended approval for this revision.

TTP Partnership is planning a mixed residential project in the southern part of Fort Worth. The proposed community, located at 10181 Forest Hill Everman Road, will encompass 357 single-family homes along with a four-story walk-up apartment building. Spanning a total of 134 acres, the development is scheduled for discussion at the Fort Worth City Council meeting this Tuesday.
The documents from the city identify TTP Partnership as the developer responsible for this upcoming project.
