- A Dallas Police Department officer was killed on Tuesday night during a collision with a wrong-way driver. The incident occurred on Spur 408 northbound at West Kiest Boulevard at the beginning of Officer Jacob Arellano's shift. The collision is being investigated by the department's traffic unit. - Dallas residents are reporting a sticky clear fluid on cars. According to Texas Parks and Wildlife, the substance is natural and is called honeydew. The substance is made when aphids suck sugar from leaves and process it. Recent drought conditions have created a build-up of the substance on local cars. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
- Four men have been arrested for allegedly stealing from a Dallas County alcohol distributor. The arrest was made by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. According to the Commission, the men stole nearly $300,000 worth of alcohol. The four men were booked into the Dallas County Jail and later released on bond. (FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth)
