🌱 DART Offers Free Cell Phones + True Cost Of Living In Dallas

Here are the top three stories today in Dallas:
- DART is now offering free cell service and cell phones to eligible riders. The offer is through a partnership with Assurance Wireless. Eligible riders will have to attend an event on Friday from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at Glenn Heights Park & Ride to get the free service and cell phones. (CW33 Dallas)
- The Dallas County DWI Task Force are warning of drunk and dangerous drivers as we head into the holiday season. The task force has partnered with AAA Texas, 24 Hour Dallas, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving to raise awareness. The task force has reported a significant increase in impaired driving since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Impaired driving currently accounts for about 25 to 30 percent of all fatal crashes in Texas. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
- A new report by Smart Asset has detailed the true cost of living in Dallas. The report examined home prices, average rent prices, utility costs, transportation costs, food costs, and taxes to determine the cost of residing in Dallas.
