- The human remains discovered in August 2021 have been identified as missing woman Sydney Palmer. The remains were discovered in an open field on Hash Road. Palmer was reported missing on Sep. 8, 2021 at the age of 26. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
- A lawsuit brought forward by a number of Texas cities against three streaming entities has been moved from state court to federal court. The collection of Texas cities is suing Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. The lawsuit alleges that the platforms did not pay municipal franchise fees that are laid out in the Texas Public Utility Regulatory Act. (CW33 Dallas)
- NPR's "The Moth" is coming to Dallas today, Sep. 28, through Sunday, Oct. 2. The nonprofit podcast features individuals sharing a story with an audience. The events at the Latino Cultural Center and at Klyde Warren Park will be free and open to the public. (Dallas Observer)
