- Dallas's De Jairron Cooper has been arrested for allegedly killing his stepfather. Adrian Cole, 50, was shot multiple times on Friday morning. According to Cooper, he got into an argument with Cole that became physically aggressive. He has been charged with murder and has been booked into the Dallas County jail. (FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth)
- Tomorrow, the Dallas City Council will be voting on a new city budget. The proposed budget is $4.5 billion. The key components in the budget are lowered property taxes, police officer raises, and a focus on equity/environmental justice. The proposed budget has an increase of $160 million compared to the current one. (KERA News)
- Two Dallas-area restaurants have been named to the New York Times' list of 50 most-loved restaurants in the country.
