  1. Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson has announced that he will be seeking reelection. The mayor will be running for the position next year. Mayor Johnson reports, "There is no way I'm not running." He has touted the reduction of violent crime, reduction of property taxes, and tightening of ethics policies during his tenure. (The Dallas Morning News)
  2. The Dallas County jail federal lawsuit regarding COVID-19 protocols has been dismissed. Former inmates, jail reform activists, and civil rights organizations report that the fight isn't over yet. Dallas County Sherriff Brown reports that she is pleased with the dismissal.   3. The Dallas Police Department is searching for a suspect in a double homicide. The department has identified Houston Littles IV on security footage. According to the department, he can be seen shooting two individuals at a Dallas strip mall parking lot near Park Lane. Anyone with information about Littles' whereabouts is asked to contact the department immediately. (FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth)
