  1. The Dallas Police Department and Crime Stoppers are offering a reward of $5,000 for information which leads to an arrest and indictment in an eastern Dallas shooting. The incident occurred on Saturday night in the 9600 block of Scyene Road at 10:00 p.m. Donnie Davidson, 32, died as a result of the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (214) 373-TIPS. (WFAA.com)
  2. A series of Sunday storms knocked out power for more than 9,600 customers in downtown Dallas. The outages were reported by Oncor at 5:15 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. The outages caused 13 individuals to become trapped in a Reunion Tower elevator. All 13 individuals were able to make their way down. There will be an abrupt cold front entering the Dallas area throughout this week. (Subscription: Dallas Morning News)
  3. Dallas' Timothy Lynch Barton, 59, has been charged with allegedly scamming Chinese investors out of more than $26 million. He has been indicted on seven counts of wire fraud, a count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and one count of securities fraud. The FBI's Dallas Field Office conducted the investigation into Barton's activity. (Justice.gov)
