1. A fleeing suspect crashed into South Dallas' Blackjack Pizza location. An individual in the restaurant and the driver were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the incident. The injuries are reportedly not life-threatening. (WFAA.com)
2. Tomorrow (Sep. 14) is the start of Hispanic Heritage Month at Dallas' Central Market. The month-long celebration will feature top-rated Hispanic brands at the Texas grocer. 3. Two Dallas area artists have been chosen as finalists in the Jarritos Artist Grant Contest. The Mexican soda company awarded Derrick C. Perkins II and Bran Movay with $1,000 grants.
