Urban Dallas market specialist Sara Terry joins Pacific Elm Properties
Brokerage pro Sara Terry, who specializes in the urban Dallas market, is leaving her role as executive vice president with Colliers DFW

Dallas - Sara Terry, a seasoned brokerage expert known for her mastery of the urban Dallas market, is departing from her position as the Executive Vice President and Director of Agency Leasing at Colliers DFW, Dallas Metro News reported. She is set to embark on a new professional journey, joining the executive ranks at Pacific Elm Properties as the incoming Chief Marketing Officer.
“The company’s rapid growth in recent years has been impressive, and I have the unique opportunity to witness how they work as a company as they have expanded,” Terry said in a statement. “They have a great culture, and I’m looking forward to being part of it.”
This strategic change occurs as Pacific Elm Properties, a subsidiary of Woods Capital, is broadening its footprint in Dallas. In a significant move last April, the company added the Saint Paul Place, a towering 22-story edifice situated at 750 N. St. Paul Street in the Dallas Arts District, to its roster for a speculated $66.7 million.

The acquisition raises Pacific Elm Properties' cumulative portfolio to an impressive 6.5 million square feet. This encompasses notable landmarks such as Comerica Bank Tower, Bryan Tower, and Santander Tower in the heart of Dallas, alongside nine acres of buildable land spread across Uptown and downtown.
“As we continue to grow our Dallas portfolio, we recognized the opportunity to strengthen our in-house capabilities and leadership,” Woods said. “Sara was the natural choice for us. Having collaborated with her for more than two years in a leasing capacity, we have witnessed her exceptional talent and experience, which greatly complement our team. In her role as chief marketing officer, Sara will oversee all aspects of brand development, marketing, advertising, and leasing activities for the firm.”

Before aligning herself with Pacific Elm Properties, Terry played a pivotal role in broadening the reach of Colliers' agency leasing, amassing over 8 million square feet in a brief span of three years at the company. A proud graduate of Georgia State University, she made her transition to Dallas from Atlanta in 2014, diving into Stream Realty Partners. During her tenure there, she successfully brokered office leases surpassing 1 million square feet.
D CEO named Terry to its 2022 edition of the Dallas 500 publication of the most influential business leaders in Dallas-Fort Worth. In it, Terry shares that she is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, and actively involved in the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Dallas and CREW Network organizations for the past 18 years.
“I’m very lucky that my passion is directly in line with my career field,” Terry wrote in her Dallas 500 questionnaire. “I truly love helping my clients realize the full potential of their office buildings through renovations, marketing, and storytelling. I get so much energy from my day-to-day work.”
