Westlake to get luxury home neighborhood
A new luxury neighborhood in Westlake has moved closer to breaking ground and delivering homes starting at an estimated $1.2 million

Dallas - Houston-based developer Lovett is on track to start construction on a new upscale residential area named Solana Hills, situated directly south of the Plaza at Solana in Westlake, Dallas Metro News reported. With home prices starting around $1.2 million, the planned community is set to offer a mix of luxury estate homes, patio homes, and townhomes.
The development proposal was recently reviewed by the Town of Westlake's Planning and Zoning Commission on August 15. However, a final decision was deferred to a subsequent meeting. The commission has requested that Lovett incorporate additional elements of natural conservation, open-to-public trails, and a slight reduction in the total number of homes.
Lovett's initial vision was to build nearly 100 homes on the 33-acre property, but the most recent plans outline a more modest 59 residences. The property was acquired three years ago by Sage Westpark Ltd., which appears to have affiliations with Lovett.

Per city records, each home in Solana Hills will feature a minimum living space of 3,000 square feet. Additionally, the estate homes—being the largest type within the development—will occupy lots with a minimum size of 15,000 square feet.
Williams said it’s too early to comment on specific home sizes, as the project is subject to further design revision. However, Lovett looks forward to getting started, he said, as reported by WFAA.
