• Litigation Roundup: Samsung Seeks New Trial After $445.5M Infringement Verdict (texaslawbook.net) — A Galveston County jury recently found a Dickinson resident solely responsible for injuries he suffered after falling into a storm drain near his home, clearing the city of Dickinson and its contractor of liability. The case stemmed from a drainage improvement project on Pin Oak Drive, and jurors heard nine days of testimony before returning their verdict on Dec. 10. The roundup also highlights several other major Texas lawsuits and court decisions.
