AUSTIN, TX — One person has died after an overdose linked to a "potentially lethal batch of narcotics" being sold in the Austin area, according to police.
Police issued a safety alert warning the public about the drugs, which have various street names like Molly, X, Ecstasy.
Police said on Saturday, three people suffering from overdoses were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas. One of those victims has died.

"Please remember that the use of illegal drugs is not safe and places the user's life in danger," police said in the alert.
