21-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot In South Austin Identified
Police arriving to the 2100 block of Elmont Drive at around 11 p.m. found Paul Brown mortally wounded; suspect has yet to be found.
SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — Police have identified the man who was fatally shot in South Austin on Wednesday.
The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. along the 2100 block of Elmont Drive. According to a police advisory, Austin 9-1-1 received numerous calls about shots being fired. Upon arrival, police said, officers found Paul Brown, 21, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police said Brown was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center, where he died of his injuries early Thursday morning. A suspect has not been identified, according to police.

Detectives continue to interview witnesses while canvassing the area for surveillance camera footage, police said in the news advisory.
