3 Hurt After Plane Crash In Northwest Travis County
The incident occurred around Lago Vista near the intersection of Tyler Trail and RM 1431, medics wrote in a tweet issued at 2 p.m.
TRAVIS COUNTY, TX — Three people were injured in a small plane crash that occurred in the northwest portion of Travis County on Monday, according to medics.
The incident occurred in an area near Lago Vista, Austin-Travis County EMS medics wrote on Twitter at 2 p.m. The site of the crash is near the intersection of Tyler Trail and RM 1431, medics confirmed.
According to medics, one patient was transported to St. David's Round Rock Hospital and a second to Dell Seton Medical Center. A third patient was treated at the scene after being extricated from the wreckage of the plane.

The surrounding area where the plane went down was closed to traffic to accommodate a STAR Flight helicopter rescue, according to the Travis County Sheriff's Office.
