Annual Bark For The Arc Benefit Goes Virtual In 2021

The annual artwork auction raises funds for The Arc and its art program for local artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

AUSTIN, TX—The Arc —a nonprofit organization committed to empowering Central Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities through compassionate case management and innovative programs— invite the community to Bark for the Arc, a virtual art auction featuring original pet-inspired art created by local artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Through The Arc's Art Education Program assisting clients with exploration through artistic mediums, and creating stunning artwork, and in partnership with Divine Canines —partnering with their dogs to enhance the well-being of those in need —the organization will host its annual event entirely virtual in 2021.

The online art auction will be held through Thursday, March 25 at 7 p.m. with artwork sales benefitting student artists, and virtual provided offered by The Arc of the Capital Area to Central Texans with disabilities. A portion of proceeds raised will also go to Divine Canines in order to continue offering free dog therapy services.
