Austin Traffic Alert: SH 130 Lanes To Close For Road Work
Texas Department of Transportation crews will close the southbound SH 130 lanes north of Cameron Road to install toll equipment.
AUSTIN, TX — The southbound main lanes of SH 130 will close this weekend to accommodate road work, state transportation officials said on Thursday.
The Texas Department of Transportation will close the southbound SH 130 main lanes north of Cameron Road so crews can install and test toll equipment, weather permitting, officials said in an advisory.
Beginning Friday 13 at 9 p.m. through Monday, Nov. 16, crews will close the southbound SH 130 main lanes north of Cameron Road. Drivers will be detoured off the main lanes and through the toll gantry to re-enter SH 130 at the next entrance ramp. All lanes are expected to reopen on Monday (Nov. 16) by 5 a.m.

Road signs have been placed to alert drivers of the closure, and motorists are urged to exercise extra caution when traveling through the work zone.
