Austin Traffic Alert: SH 130 Main Lanes To Close For Road Work
From Monday through Wednesday, crews will close the southbound SH 130 main lanes north of Cameron Road to install and test equipment.
AUSTIN, TX — SH 130 main lanes will close next week to accommodate installation and testing of toll road equipment, state transportation officials said Friday.
From Monday through Wednesday (Nov. 2-4) from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly, crews will close the southbound SH 130 main lanes north of Cameron Road, Texas Department of Transportation officials said. Drivers will be detoured off the main lanes and through the toll gantry to re-enter SH 130 at the next entrance ramp. All lanes are expected to reopen no later than 5 a.m. each morning, officials added.
Beginning Friday, Nov. 6, at 9 p.m. through Monday, Nov. 9, crews will close the northbound SH 130 main lanes north of Cameron Road. Drivers will be detoured off the main lanes and through the toll gantry to re-enter SH 130 at the next entrance ramp. All lanes are expected to reopen on Monday, Nov. 9, at 5 a.m.

Road signs have been placed to alert drivers of the closures, and drivers are urged to use extra caution when traveling through the work zone.
