Barricaded Person In South Austin Brings Out Police
Police were scheduled to provide further details on the incident at the intersection of Rockland Drive and Garbacz Drive Wednesday evening.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — Police officers were at a southwest Austin location amid reports of a barricaded person on Wednesday evening, law enforcement officials confirmed.
The location of the incident was undisclosed by police, but local media reports place it at the intersection of Rockland Drive and Garbacz Drive. Police confirmed the incident in a tweet sent out just before 6:20 p.m.
A police spokesman was expected to provide further details later in the evening, according to the Austin Police Department.
