East Austin Fire Leaves 1 Critically Injured
The fire at 4910 Blue Bluff Rd. was extinguished by around 5:40 p.m., but not before a person sustained injuries described as 'significant.'
EAST AUSTIN, TX — An East Austin house fire on Friday evening left one person critically injured and extensive structural damage, officials said.
The fire at 4910 Blue Bluff Rd. was extinguished by around 5:40 p.m., but not before a person was transported to the hospital with injuries described as "significant." The conflagration that started outside extended to cars on the property, and spred to an adjacent trailer that was occupied at the time, according to fire officials.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
