Emeril Lagasse Is Coming to Downtown Austin This Week
Celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse is bringing his New Orleans flavor to Austin for a book signing and a five-course dinner this week.

Celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse is coming to downtown Austin on Oct. 7 for a book signing and an exclusive five-course dinner at Olamaie, a Southern food restaurant on 1610 San Antonio Street.
The Austin Food and Wine Alliance announced Lagasse’s visit on its website.

“Emeril will be joined by Food & Wine Magazine’s 2015 ‘Best New Chefs’ Michael Fojtasek and Grae Nonas to present a 5-course dinner paired with premium wines and inspired by Lagasse’s just released cookbook, Essential Emeril. Tickets include a personally signed book,” the website says.
Tickets are $175 and there is limited seating. But the Alliance is also giving away tickets on social media.

Before the “Wine and Dine Dinner,” Lagasse will be at Hotel Ella at 1900 Rio Grande St. to sign his news book, Essential Emeril. Tickets are $35.
