Senior Director, Higher Education

College Board

The Senior Director, Higher Education is responsible for increasing opportunities for students to attend, be successful in, and complete a post-secondary degree. This is accomplished by leading the regional higher education services team in the execution of major College Board initiatives that drive strategic partnerships and result in meaningful outcomes that propel students toward rewarding college and career opportunities. The responsibility of this position is to adapt and execute enterprise strategies at the regional level in collaboration with campus, university system and state partners.

The Senior Director leads the regional Higher Ed team by managing, developing, and evaluating a talented staff of Educational Managers and Associates, setting a vision for the impact of the Higher Ed unit on the success of the regional higher education community, and ensuring that a regional higher education perspective is included in all major organizational initiatives and outreach. The Senior Director is responsible and accountable for the performance of the regional Higher Ed unit in meeting and exceeding national and regional goals, including goals for policy, adoption of services, and revenue.

The Senior Director coordinates with the State and District Partnerships (SDP) unit, Government Relations (GR), Programs, and regional staff to develop unified state strategies that advance the College Board’s national goals.

The Senior Director supports organizational Leadership in developing strategies and budgets aligned to goals and priorities.
