Interstate 35 Lane Closures From Nov. 7-13, 2020

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation has released its latest list of lane closures planned along Interstate 35, yielding a helfpul driving primer. Those consulting the list ahead of travel know in advance where potential traffic congestion might emerge, deftly avoiding such delay-inducing hot spots.

The latest list is for Nov. 7-13.

I-35 AT RONALD REAGAN BOULEVARD

• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Sunday, Nov. 8 through Tuesday, Nov. 10 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Wednesday, Nov. 11 through Thursday, Nov. 12 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT NORTHWEST BOULEVARD

• Southbound I-35 closed nightly at the Lakeway Drive entrance ramp
  • Tuesday, Nov. 10 through Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT WILLIAMS DRIVE

• Northbound I-35 Lakeway Drive/Austin Avenue exit (#264) closed
  • Sunday, Nov. 8 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed from Jeffrey Way to the RM 1431 exit (#256)
  • Through early 2021

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound US 183 frontage road reduced to one lane from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through December 2020
• Westbound Huntland Drive closed at the southbound I-35 frontage road
  • Through Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road closed nightly at US 183. The US 183/St. Johns Avenue exit (#240) will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Nov. 8 through Thursday, Nov. 12 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Northbound US 183 frontage road closed nightly from Clock Tower Drive to I-35. The I-35/Lamar Boulevard exit will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Nov. 8 through Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Southbound US 183 right lane closed nightly from I-35 to the Cameron Road exit
  • Sunday, Nov. 8 through Thursday, Nov. 12 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Northbound and southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Huntland Drive to Blackson Avenue
  • Monday, Nov. 9 through Friday, Nov. 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Northbound I-35 to northbound US 183 flyover closed nightly
  • Monday, Nov. 9 through Thursday, Nov. 12 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound US 183 frontage road closed nightly from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Monday, Nov. 9 through Thursday, Nov. 12 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Northbound and southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Slaughter Lane to Stassney Lane
  • Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily from Battle Bend Boulevard to Stassney Lane
  • Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from SH 71 to Slaughter Lane. The SH 71 entrance ramp and William Cannon Drive exit (#228) will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Nov. 8 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from William Cannon Drive to Stassney Lane
  • Monday, Nov. 9 through Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound and southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Slaughter Lane to Stassney Lane
  • Monday, Nov. 9 through Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 left lane closed daily at William Cannon Drive
  • Monday, Nov. 9 through Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from William Cannon Drive to Slaughter Lane. The Slaughter Lane exit (#227) will also be closed.
  • Monday, Nov. 9 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Stassney Lane to William Cannon Drive
  • Monday, Nov. 9 through Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily from Battle Bend Boulevard to Stassney Lane
  • Monday, Nov. 9 through Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from Stassney Lane to Slaughter Lane. Multiple entrance and exit ramps will be closed as needed.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 10 through Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 150 TO KYLE CROSSING

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed from FM 1626 to Kyle Crossing
  • Through December 2020
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from FM 150 to Brent Boulevard
  • Through January 2021

I-35 AT POSEY ROAD

• Northbound I-35 Posey Road exit (#199) closed
  • Until further notice
• Southbound I-35 York Creek Road exit (#196) closed
