Interstate 35 Lane Closures For Oct. 24-30, 2020

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation each week releases its list of planned lane closures along Interstate 35, alerting to potential traffic congestion along the key artery ahead of time.

This week's list is for Oct. 24-30.

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed from Jeffrey Way to the RM 1431 exit (#256)
  • Through early 2021

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound US 183 frontage road right lane closed from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through December 2020
• Westbound Huntland Drive closed continuously at the southbound I-35 frontage road
  • Through mid-November
• Northbound I-35 right two lanes closed nightly from US 290 East to US 183. The US 290 East entrance ramp and northbound I-35 to northbound US 183 flyover will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Oct. 25 through Thursday, Oct. 29 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 right lane closed nightly from St. Johns Avenue to 51st Street. The St. Johns Avenue entrance ramp and 51st Street exit (#238B) will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Oct. 25 through Thursday, Oct. 29 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed nightly Blackson Avenue to Huntland Drive
  • Sunday, Oct. 25 through Thursday, Oct. 29 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road closed nightly at US 183. The US 183/St. Johns Avenue exit (#240) will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Oct. 25 through Thursday, Oct. 29 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound US 183 right lane closed nightly from the I-35/Lamar Boulevard exit to I-35. The Cameron Road entrance ramp will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Oct. 25 through Thursday, Oct. 29 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound US 183 right lane closed nightly from I-35 to Cameron Road
  • Sunday, Oct. 25 through Thursday, Oct. 29 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound US 183 frontage road right lane closed nightly from I-35 to Carver Avenue
  • Sunday, Oct. 25 through Thursday, Oct. 29 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Blackson Avenue to Huntland Drive
  • Monday, Oct. 26 through Friday, Oct. 30 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from Rundberg Lane to US 183. The Rundberg Lane entrance ramp will also be closed.
• Wednesday, Oct. 28 through Thursday, Oct. 29 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Northbound and southbound I-35 left lane closed nightly from Slaughter Lane to William Cannon Drive
  • Sunday, Oct. 25 through Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from William Cannon Drive to Stassney Lane
  • Monday, Oct. 26 through Friday, Oct. 30 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily from Chaparral Road to Foremost Drive
  • Monday, Oct. 26 from Saturday, Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily from Colonial Park Boulevard to Stassney Lane
  • Monday, Oct. 26 through Saturday, Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Little Texas Lane to William Cannon Drive
  • Monday, Oct. 26 through Saturday, Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right turn lane closed daily at Stassney Lane

• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Battle Bend Boulevard to Stassney Lane

• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed at William Cannon Drive
  • Monday, Oct. 26 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 left lane closed from William Cannon Drive to Stassney Lane
  • Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 left two lanes closed nightly from Stassney Lane to Slaughter Lane
  • Wednesday, Oct. 28 through Thursday, Oct. 29 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 150 TO KYLE CROSSING

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed from RM 1626 to Kyle Crossing
  • Through December 2020
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from RM 150 to Brent Boulevard
  • Through January 2021
• Northbound I-35 left lane closed nightly from Center Street to Kyle Crossing. The Brent Boulevard entrance ramp and Kyle Parkway exit (#215) will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Oct. 25 through Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT POSEY ROAD

• Northbound I-35 Posey Road exit (#199) closed
