Interstate 35 Lane Closures Sept. 12-18, 2020

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation has released its latest list of Interstate 35 lane closures, yielding a helpful list to savvy drivers. By checking the list ahead of time motorists are able to avoid potential areas of traffic congestion.

The latest lane closures list is for Sept. 12-18.

I-35 FROM CORN HILL (BUD STOCKTON LOOP) TO FM 972

• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Thursday, Sept. 17 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT NORTHWEST BOULEVARD

• Northbound I-35 left lane closed nightly at Northwest Boulevard
  • Monday, Sept. 14 through Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly at Northwest Boulevard
  • Monday, Sept. 14 through Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from Jeffrey Way to the RM 1431 exit (#256)
  • Through early 2021

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound I-35 right lane closed nightly from Blackson Avenue to Norwood Park Boulevard. The Rundberg Lane exit (#241) will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Sept. 13 through Thursday, Sept. 17 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly from the US 183/St. Johns Avenue exit (#240) to Powell Lane. The US 183/St. Johns Avenue exit and the Rundberg Lane entrance ramp will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Sept. 13 through Thursday, Sept. 17 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road closed nightly from Wonsley Drive to US 183
  • Sunday, Sept. 13 through Thursday, Sept. 17 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 right lane closed from Huntland Drive to US 290 East. The Huntland Drive entrance ramp will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Sept. 13 through Thursday, Sept. 17 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed nightly from Blackson Avenue to Huntland Drive
  • Sunday, Sept. 13 through Thursday, Sept. 17 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Blackson Avenue to Huntland Drive
  • Monday, Sept. 14 through Friday, Sept. 18 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound US 183 reduced to one lane from Clock Tower Drive to I-35. The I-35/Lamar Boulevard exit will also be closed.
  • Thursday, Sept. 17 from 8 p.m. until 12 a.m.
• Northbound US 183 frontage road closed from Clock Tower Drive to I-35
  • Thursday, Sept. 17 from 8 p.m. until 12 a.m.

• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane daily from Slaughter Lane to William Cannon Drive
