Interstate 35 Lanes Closures List Nov. 28-Dec. 4, 2020

AUSTIN, TX — State transportation officials have released the weekly list of Interstate 35 lane closures, yielding a helpful driving guide for motorists. In consulting the list before traveling, drivers are able to avoid areas along the highway stretch being worked on that could yield traffic congestion.

The latest list from the Texas Department of Transportation covers the period between Nov. 28 andDec. 4.

I-35 AT RONALD REAGAN BOULEVARD

• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Monday, Nov. 30 through Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT NORTHWEST BOULEVARD

• Northbound I-35 left lane closed nightly at Northwest Boulevard
  • Tuesday Dec. 1 through Thursday, Dec. 3 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly at Northwest Boulevard
  • Tuesday Dec. 1 through Thursday, Dec. 3 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed from Jeffrey Way to the RM 1431 exit (#256)
  • Through early 2021
• Northbound I-35 right lane closed from Texas Avenue to Jeffrey Way. The US 79 entrance ramp and the RM 1431 exit (#256) will also be closed.
  • Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Northbound I-35 bypass lane closed at Parmer Lane
  • Through early 2021

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound US 183 frontage road reduced to one lane from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through December 2020
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly from Norwood Park Boulevard to Park Plaza Drive. The Rundberg Lane exit (#241) and the Rundberg Lane entrance ramp will also be closed.
  • Monday, Nov. 30 through Thursday, Dec. 3 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 right lane closed nightly from Huntland Drive to US 290 East. The St. Johns Avenue entrance ramp and the 51st Street exit (#238B) will also be closed.
  • Monday, Nov. 30 through Thursday, Dec. 3 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Blackson Avenue to Huntland Drive
  • Monday, Nov. 30 through Friday, Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound US 183 frontage road closed nightly from Clock Tower Drive to I-35. The I-35/Lamar Boulevard exit will also be closed.
  • Monday, Nov. 30 through Thursday, Dec. 3 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound US 183 frontage road closed nightly from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Monday, Nov. 30 through Thursday, Dec. 3 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 to Northbound US 183 flyover closed nightly
  • Monday, Nov. 30 through Thursday, Dec. 3 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 right two lanes closed nightly from US 183 to Huntland Drive. The southbound US 183 to southbound I-35 flyover will also be closed.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 1 through Thursday, Dec. 3 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 right lane closed nightly from Rundberg Lane to the US 183/St. Johns Avenue exit (#240). The US 183/St. Johns Avenue exit will also be closed.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 1 through Thursday, Dec. 3 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Boggy Creek Drive to Stassney Lane
  • Monday, Nov. 30 through Saturday, Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily from Stassney Lane to Teri Road
  • Monday, Nov. 30 through Saturday, Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 left lane closed nightly from the SH 71/Ben White Boulevard entrance ramp to Slaughter Lane. Multiple entrance and exit ramps will close as needed.
  • Monday, Nov. 30 through Thursday, Dec. 3 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Colonial Park Boulevard to William Cannon Drive
  • Monday, Nov. 30 through Saturday, Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Eastbound Stassney Lane right turn lane closed daily at the southbound I-35 frontage road
  • Monday, Nov. 30 through Saturday, Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

I-35 FROM RM 150 TO KYLE CROSSING

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed from FM 1626 to Kyle Crossing
  • Through December 2020
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from FM 150 to Brent Boulevard
  • Through January 2021

I-35 AT POSEY ROAD

• Northbound I-35 Posey Road exit (#199) closed
  • Until further notice
• Southbound I-35 York Creek Road exit (#196) closed
  • Until further notice

I-35 MAINTENANCE PROJECTS

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed at the FM 1327 entrance ramp
