Sara Davis, 36, last seen Aug. 27 when she dropped off her kids with dad, was found in the company of a man wanted on a felony warrant.

AUSTIN, TX — An Austin woman who had been last seen more than two weeks ago was found in San Antonio in the company of a man wanted on a felony warrant, sheriff's officials said Saturday.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office first reached out to the public for help in locating Sara Davis, 36, who had last been seen in the Wells Branch neighborhood when she dropped off her children at their father's home on Aug. 27, officials wrote in a news advisory.

Investigators later learned Davis had recently been in the company of a man named Marlon Ray Burleson, who is wanted on a felony warrant on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence. Upon learning this, detectives extended their search for the woman to include him as a person of interest, according to the sheriff's office.
