Police Seek Missing Woman In Austin
Janee Cardenas, 29, was reported missing on Sunday, and it's unclear what her destination was or who she might be with, police said.
AUSTIN, TX — The Austin Police Department on Tuesday issued a plea for help from the public in locating a missing woman last believed to have been in Austin in late October.
Two days later, police reported some promising news: The woman had reached out to her family after the local law enforcement agency issued their plea for the community's help.
Janee Cardenas, 29, was reported missing on Sunday, according to a police advisory. Police said her destination prior to being reported missing is unclear, as is the company she may be keeping. Police released a photo of the woman in the hopes someone might recognize her and alert police as to her whereabouts. Cardenas is described as standing five feet, seven inches in height, weighing 160 pound with brown hair and brown eyes.
