Missing Woman Sought In Travis County
Sara Joy Davis, 36, is said to have dropped off her children at their father's house on Aug. 27 and hasn't been heard from since.
TRAVIS COUNTY, TX — The Travis County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday issued a plea from the public for help in its search for a woman reported missing last week.
Sara Joy Davis is described as a white, 36-year-old woman standing five feet, four inches in height and weighing 130 pounds. In an advisory, the sheriff's office said she left her two young children with their father at his house on Aug. 27. She told the children's father she was going to visit a friend but never returned, according to the sheriff's office.
Four days later, the woman missed an appointment with her children. Her absence prompted family members to report has as missing.

The sheriff's office released photos of the missing woman and her car in the hopes someone might recognize either and alert as to her whereabouts. The woman's vehicle is described as a gray 2015 Toyota Corolla four-door passenger car with license plate GCZ 2961. The photo below shows what the car looks like:
