Motorcyclist Killed In North Austin Crash
Ruben Krumholz, 63, was pronounced dead at the scene after the Sept. 12 collision that occurred after he left the road for unknown reasons.
AUSTIN, TX — Police on Tuesday identified the motorcyclist who lost his life after crashing in North Austin ten days ago.
The incident dates to Sept. 12, when a motorcyclist crashed just before 1 p.m. along the 12000 block of Research Boulevard. A preliminary police investigation shows that a silver, 2011 Kawasaki Motorcycle on which Ruben Krumolz was traveling northbound in the 12000 block of Research Boulevard northbound left the roadway for an unknown reason. Police said the bike crossed over the shoulder before striking a concrete barrier and making contact with a pole.
The motoryclist, Ruben Krumholz, 63, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said there is no indication speed or weather were contributed factors to the collision.

The incident makred Austin’s 60th fatal traffic crash of 2020, police said, resulting in 65 fatalities this year. At this time in 2019, police added, there were 60 traffic fatalities.
