Our Town America of Austin to Honor Local Small Business Owners

The last few years have been brutal for small business owners. It started with pandemic shutdowns in 2020. In 2021, smalls business owners battled labor and supply shortages, and this year it’s been all about inflation.

These challenges can often bring out the best in people, and that’s why Our Town America, a national new mover marketing franchise with a location right here in Austin, is once again soliciting votes and nominations for its annual Small Business Resilience Award. They are looking for small business owners who continue to overcome the odds.

“The Small Business Resilience Award was created by Our Town America because the small businesses we walk into every day are our neighbors who are trying to make our lives just a little better with the services they provide,” said Dan Schrobilgen, owner of Our Town America of Austin. “We wanted to create an opportunity for some of these businesses to be honored and applauded for the hard work they do.”

Each Small Business Resilience Award Winner will receive a certificate to display as well as other goodies provided by each Our Town America location. If you are interested in voting for your favorite local small business, click here and scroll to your state.
