Paramount Theatre Unveils Holiday Film Series In Austin
From modern classics to true classics, the movie palace will screen classic holiday films in an environment adherent to safety standards.
AUSTIN, TX — The Paramount Theatre on Friday announced the return of their Holiday Film Series presented by CapMetro.
From modern classics to true classics, the Paramount will be screening favorite films of the season the way they were meant to be seen on the big screen at Austin’s only movie palace. Film tickets for series screenings — beginning with “Elf” on Sunday, Dec. 6 — are on sale and can be purchased online at www.austintheatre.org/holiday.
As the Paramount did with the postponed Summer Classic Film Series in September, strong health and safety protocols remain in place to protect patrons, staff and volunteers in light of ongoing reach of the coronavirus. Masks are required for all patrons over the age of 10 unless they are eating or drinking while seated. Moreover, there are a number of established procedures implemented to minimize personal contact, including a new clear bag policy; updated socially distanced seat map with the theatre limited to only 25 percent capacity; contact-less ticketing; touchless concessions; and temperature checks for all patrons and staff.
