Aggravated Robbery Suspects Sought By Austin Police
Incidents occurred this weekend at a Circle K convenience store on East Cesar Chavez Street and another at William Cannon Drive.
AUSTIN, TX — Police are seeking help from the public in identifying a suspect involved in an East Austin convenience store robbery on Saturday.
The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. at a Circle K convenience store on 3112 E. Cesar Chavez St., according to a police advisory. According to the report, a man entered the store before holding the clerk at gunpoint while demanding money. The suspect then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash, police said, adding that the clerk was uninjured.
The suspect is described as Black or Hispanic. Police said he was carrying a gray-and-black backpack adorned with a geometric design. He was last seen wearing a black-and-white face covering, a black hoodie with the word "PINK" in large, gray lettering across the chest, black pants and multi-colored shoes.

In a separate advisory, police referenced hoodie-wearing suspect in another robbery the day before for which he and another suspect are sought. Police said the incident occurred on Friday just after 2:35 a.m. at a 7-Eleven store on 1901 E. William Cannon Dr. in South Austin. According to the police report, two suspects entered the store, robbed the clerk at gunpoint and then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police said the suspect wore the same hoodie emblazoned with the word "PINK" and a white face covering like the one worn the following day. This time, police noted, the suspect was wearing tan/khaki pants. This time, the suspect was accompanied by an accomplice who is described as a short Hispanic or white man who was seen wearing a white-and-blue baggy shirt, dark pants, black face and head covering and black shoes with a white trim.
As they continue to investigate, detectives ask anyone with information about this case to call them at (512) 974-5092, Crime Stoppers at (512) 472-TIPS, submit a tip on the Crime Stoppers website or use the Crime Stoppers app. Police said tipsters have the option of remaining anonymous, and are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Anonymity also is ensured with tips coming into the police department's mobile app, Austin PD, which can be downloaded for free on iPhone and Android.
