Robbery Suspects Sought By Austin Police

The suspects entered a convenience store on Congress Avenue while armed with multiple handguns before assaulting the clerk and taking cash.

AUSTIN, TX — The Austin Police Department is seeking help from the public in identifying suspects wanted in a robbery on Sunday.

The incident occurred just before midnight at 3906 South Congress Ave., police said in an advisory issued on Tuesday. The suspects entered a convenience store at the location while armed with multiple handguns before assaulting the clerk and fleeing with money and other items, police said.

The police department released surveillance camera images of the suspects, along with descriptions of each one:

Suspect 1

  • Black man.
  • Approximately 20 years old.
  • Six feet tall.
  • Thin build.
  • Last seen wearing a black “Nike Air” hoodie with gray sleeves and black pants.

Suspect 2

  • Light-skinned Black or Hispanic man.
  • Approximately five feet, six inches tall.
  • Last seen wearing a dark hoodie with "GAP" branding on the chest, white shoes, blue backpack and a red bandana wrapped around his right calf.

Suspect 3

  • Fair-skinned Hispanic man.
  • Red shirt wrapped around his head.
  • Last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts with a blue stripe on the side, gray high top shoes and yellow and orange socks.
