The incident occurred on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at around 12:10 a.m. along the 500 block of E. St. Elmo Road, police wrote in an advisory. A suspect whom police said was driving three passengers in a silver BMW 5 series car pulled up to a light-colored sedan (possibly also a BMW, police noted) in a parking lot before firing multiple shots into the occupied vehicle.
Several of the bullets struck the Music Lab building that was occupied at the time, police added. Both vehicles fled the scene following the altercation, police said, and no injuries were reported.
