Austin Taco Run Explores East Austin Heritage

Runners will enjoy an evening learning about east Austin and its history and will be able to enjoy a variety of taco stops along the way.

AUSTIN, TX—Runners will have the opportunity to explore east Austin heritage on the run with taco stops along the way art part of The Austin Taco Run presented by City Running and Saucony. Trek through Austin's east side neighborhood and learn about the cultural heritage of yesterday and today!

Participants will experience stops featuring 3 of the 4 taquerias from Austin's Taco Mafia, and when you arrive early to the event, you're invited to try on the great selection of Saucony shoes and even demo a pair for the entire run! The event Scheduled Thursday, July 29 at 6:30 p.m. and Thursday, August 26 at 6:30 p.m. with the run kicking off at 7 p.m. from Cuanto's. Runners will then meet back for the last round of tacos and complimentary ice-cold beverages from Central Machine Works.
