W Hotel Celebrates 10 Years In Downtown Austin With Contest

AUSTIN, TX — To celebrate its 10-year anniversary in downtown Austin, the W Hotel has launched contest yielding the "Ultimate Block 21 Weekend" for two lucky winners.

Those wishing to experience an unforgettable weekend will get to select from a list of 10 experiences, including:

• One night in the hotel's presidential suite.
• A private dance party at 3TEN ACL Live for up to 20 people.
• A 10-course meal at TRACE or on ACL Live stage with alcohol pairing for up to 4 people.

To enter the contest, contestants can post videos or still photos while completing various challenges via Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter using #Block21Turns10. Each challenge counts as one entry, so the more challenges completed, the more entries earned! Below are examples of some of the challenges:

• Run around Block 21 10 times.
• Kiss the Willie Nelson statue 10 times. (BYOCW: bring your own Clorox wipes, masked kisses encouraged!)
• Share 10 photos of yourself at ACL Live in an Instagram carousel, Facebook album, or collage.
• Share 10 photos of yourself at W Austin in an Instagram carousel, Facebook album, or collage.
• Book a room at W Austin with the 10th birthday offer. (Book here).

• Dine at TRACE and share a photo of your favorite dish. (Make a reservation here).
• Pamper your 10 phalanges! Show the “after” picture from your manicure or pedicure at AWAY Spa. (Make an appointment here.)
• Take a backstage tour of ACL Live & 3TEN (Monday-Saturday at 11AM) and share 10 photos of your experience. (Book here.)
• Tell 10 friends about this contest! Once a week during the contesting time frame, ACL Live or W Austin will make a post about this contest on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Follow both ACL Live and W Austin on that platform + tag 10 friends in the comments on those specific posts to complete your entry.

Visit Block 21 10 times before the end of 2020

On your first visit, ask for a stamp card. Attend an ACL Live show or take a backstage tour, dine at TRACE, unwind at AWAY Spa, grab a drink at the Secret Bar, book a room at W Austin. There are endless possibilities.

Then, turn in your completed stamp card to the Welcome Desk at W Austin by Jan. 1, 2021, to receive an additional 10 entries. Share a photo of each of experience (holding your stamp card) on social media for additional entries along the way (one extra entry permitted per visit, up to 10 per person).
