Want To Rappel Down a Downtown Austin Hotel? Now You Can

Have you ever dreamed of rappelling down one of the buildings in downtown Austin? Apparently you’re not alone.

On Nov. 10, you can rappel down 16 stories of the Omni Austin Hotel on San Jacinto Boulevard.

It’s all in the name of a good cause. Shatterproof, whose mission is “to protect our children from addiction to alcohol or other drugs and end the stigma and suffering of those affected by this disease.”

There is a catch, though. You have to raise a minimum of $1,000 and there’s a $55 registration fee. Also, there are a limited amounts of spots available, so register now.
