• Edinburg police: Man stabs neighbor multiple times, has ‘history of ongoing disputes' (valleycentral.com) — Edinburg police say a weekend argument between neighbors on Carmen Avenue ended with one man repeatedly stabbed and another arrested on an aggravated assault charge. The victim was treated at a local hospital and released, while the suspect reportedly stayed at the scene and surrendered peacefully. Police also noted the two men have a history of disputes.
• Over 180 PSJA ISD Seniors Recognized at STC Fall Commencement (texasborderbusiness.com) — Edinburg’s Bert Ogden Arena just hosted more than 180 PSJA ISD seniors as they walked in South Texas College’s fall commencement, months before finishing high school. Many earned associate degrees or industry certifications through PSJA’s Early College partnership with STC, giving local students a big head start on college and careers at no cost to their families.
