City leaders say the recognition highlights accurate reporting, strong budgeting, and a continued commitment to transparency for residents and the City Council. 
• New details on tragic Boerne preschool crash that killed two (mysanantonio.com) — Authorities have closed the criminal investigation into the driver who crashed into ExcellED Montessori Preschool in Fair Oaks Ranch, killing a teacher and a 1-year-old in December 2024. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office shared few details and referred further questions to prosecutors, while the victims’ families continue a civil lawsuit against the driver and the preschool operator.
