• Texas Had The USA's Largest Truck Stop – For About A Year (wearelubbock.com) — A massive truck stop project in Gainesville called Truckers Paradise, has shut down roughly a year after its highly touted grand opening, despite strong early excitement from locals and travelers. The repurposed I-35 shopping mall was expected to boost tourism and the local economy, but payroll problems and investor issues led to eviction by the landlord and a complete halt in operations.
