• Explosion Rocks Godley Barn as Fire Rips Through Alecia Lane Property (hoodline.com) — An explosion and fire tore through a large barn on Alecia Lane in Godley Tuesday afternoon, drawing a major response from Godley firefighters and Johnson County ESD units. Officials repeatedly urged people to avoid the smoke-filled area while crews worked, and no injuries or cause had been confirmed yet. Residents with breathing or heart issues were advised to take extra precautions around the smoke.
