• Fort Worth to spend $47.2M on road improvements in city's expanding far north (fortworthreport.org) — Major upgrades are coming to Avondale Haslet Road, as Fort Worth commits $47.2 million to widen lanes, add sidewalks, and improve drainage along the corridor coordinated with the city of Haslet. Construction is expected to start in February and will tackle a key choke point between Highway 287 and School House Road, where rapid growth has strained two-lane roads and daily commutes.
