3 Arrested, Charged In Capital Murder Of Store Clerk

Steven Hicks, 18, Lakoreen Parker, 19​, and Brent Williams, 18​ are charged with capital murder in the shooting death of Se Young Lee​.

HOUSTON — Houston Police charged three men with the capital murder of a 59-year-old store clerk on April 16. Police arrested Steven Hicks, 18, Lakoreen Parker, 19, and Brent Williams, 18 and charged all three with the shooting death of Se Young Lee last month.

Investigators said Hicks, Parker, and Williams came into the store in the 9200 block of Main Street shortly after 1 a.m. on April 16, wearing hoodies and masks with guns drawn.

The men demanded money from Lee, who was seen on surveillance photos with his hands raised and complying with the robbers, but was shot multiple times.

Paramedics took Lee to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. The suspects then fled the scene.

Police were able to identify the three men in the store surveillance video as Hicks, Williams and Parker.

All three men were found and arrested on Wednesday. They are being held without bond in the Harris County Jail.
