If your normal collection falls on those days, expect service the following Friday or Saturday while facilities and offices briefly shut down, then reopen.

2. Bodycam footage of fatal shooting released after man slashes officer with knife during mental health episode (click2houston.com) — Houston police have released bodycam video from a fatal November shooting at a downtown business on Milam Street, where an officer was slashed with a knife during a reported mental health episode. The footage shows officers trying to calm the man before a struggle, gunfire, the man’s death, and serious but nonfatal injuries to one officer; the case remains under investigation.
